    Based in Kuala Lumpur, Datin Rowena Capil Florece has been the human resources director since 2011, principally managing the human capital and people strategy in the areas of leadership, talent, culture and management. Having completed a degree in science of psychology at university, she obtained her MBA and added on various executive management programmes and short courses, broadening her academic qualifications with educational institutions that included University of the Philippines, Asian Institute of Management, India Institute of Management, Harvard and INSEAD. Like most HR professionals, she started her career in the field of talent acquisition and HR business partnership before moving onto management and leadership roles. Through the years, she has been a HR practitioner across various industries – manufacturing, insurance, investment and information technology. She strongly advocates diversity and inclusion in the workplace and is a proponent for continuous learning, leveraging her field of specialisation as a channel to develop talent from various sectors of society. She enjoys educational travels, cultural immersions, gardening and reading – all good sources of a lively and upbeat outlook on life which is reflective of her character.

    Lim Chee Gay is a business person in the HR world, a seasoned ‘C’ Level HR Professional. He has more than 24 years of experience in HR, manufacturing, IT and supply chain, and this varied experience has enabled him to reinvent and transform HR outside-in during his career. He has managed teams in the US, EU and Asia. His key areas of focus include global board level HR transformation, building best workplaces, developing leadership excellence, operation excellence as well as culture transformation for sustainable growth. Before joining Teledirect, he was with AIA, Samsung, T-System/T-Mobile, Astro and Intel, where one of his greatest achievements was to drive Samsung’s HR team to win the Best HR Team award across 82 Samsung subsidiaries. He has held management and board positions at a country and regional level over the years and is also a well-known global speaker.     Muhamad Zaid Hasman digital director of McDonald’s Malaysia who joined the team in January this year to expand the McDelivery business. This is done by leveraging e-commerce as well as develop a growth strategy across other digital touch-points. He is also responsible for driving the omni-channel marketing strategy for McDonald’s business. Previously head of digital at Domino’s Pizza, Malaysia and Singapore, he helped develop social media and growth strategies across various consumer touch-points and he also worked collaboratively with the company’s stakeholders. With 15 years of digital experience in various sectors including food and beverage, telecommunications, software development, retail and creative agency, Zaid is well-versed in both the technical and business aspects of the digital world.

    Armed with a doctorate in industrial psychology, he serves as a member of board of directors and corporate advisor of several multinational companies in Malaysia. He has extensively supported foreign direct investment (FDI) in this country, in both aspects, investment and re-investment, of mainly multinational companies (MNCs) in manufacturing sector with countries such as Japan, US and Europe. Among his specialties are Strategic Corporate Communication, Leadership, Strategic Planning and Management, Business Process Engineering to HR Best Practices for Organizational Excellence, to state a few. He is also an AIIA Certified Assessor and Coach, Industrial Psychologist and a Fellow Certified Business Administrator. An inspiring and motivational CEO with first-rate interpersonal skills, Datuk Dr. Siraj Khan is awarded as one of the Top 100 CEO SME Award in the 2013 and subsequently 2015.

    Fong Tuan is the HR Director for Samsung Malaysia. He is responsible for the end-to-end People operations for the organization, being a member of the executive team providing strategic and tactical inputs to drive organizational goals and business objectives.

    Prior to this, Fong Tuan was the Chief People Officer for Mah Sing Group. And previously Director, Human Resources for B Braun Asia Pacific. Previously he held senior HR leadership roles with the Maybank Group, British American Tobacco, OCBC and Coca Cola. He also had a stint with Watson Wyatt (now known as Willis Towers Watson) as Malaysia’s Talent Practice Lead, consulting in the areas of talent management, total rewards and human capital strategy. He started his career with Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia’s power utility company, where he was a scholar.

    Fong Tuan, a qualified professional engineer, holds a first class honours degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University of Sussex, UK, MBA in Organisational Behaviour from Australia, postgraduate degree from INSEAD and Harvard, and also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is also an Associate Faculty for Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia.

He has an MSc in organisational and occupational psychology and before PwC spent his working career in consulting and leadership development in London.

A certified action learning coach with the World Institute of Action Learning, she was the recipient of the WIAL International Coaching Excellence Award for 2015. After working hours, she spends time in her home office making leather-bound travel journals and designing home organization solutions for her family and friends.
